Pulling out my dies and playing with scraps

Life has dealt us with many challenges and I’ve been trying to keep myself busy to keep my mind off of them and to keep my sanity in tack, but I am faltering.  Things that I should keep up have been put on the back burner and one of those things is my blog and my commitments.  I am really trying to stay focused and it hasn’t been easy.

I apologize if my posts have been short or seem to just not go anywhere, but I hope you bare with me while my family gets things in order.

I decided to go through my never-ending selection of dies and share this first card with you. The colors made it “merry”, don’t you think?

Card Recipe
Stamp: ODBD Porch
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Stampin’ Up
Accessories: Spellbinders (Classic Circles Large, Petite Scalloped Circles Large, Foliage Frame), black super fine detail embossing powder, white linen ribbon, mini brands, white mini pearls

Then I decided to go through my never-ending pile of scraps to create a card that just focused on the sentiment which I really needed to be reminded of:

Card Recipe
Stamp: ODBD Mini Tags 2
Ink: Versamark
Paper: unknown designer paper, Stampin’ Up!
Accessories: Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Three, decorative brads, satin ribbons, Basic Grey Opalines

Tomorrow is the next ODBD BLOG HOP!!  Make sure to join in…you won’t want to miss what Kelley is releasing!!

  1. I love looking at your creations and what you have put together with "scraps" and just random dies are absolutely beautiful! You are such an inspiration and I will keep you in my prayers that things improve or come to an even keel for you and your family. May God bless you always.
