Let’s get quilling AND my blogoversary candy winner!

Fun with quilling! I know! Who would have thought I’d do some quilling, especially since I’ve heard it is so time consuming. BUT, Cuttlebug came up with a way to do some quilling that takes no time at all and so I just HAD to HAVE all three sets!

ODBD 128

I used my new Cuttlebug Quilled Kits to add lots of floral dimension by just running them through my machine and the flowers really made the verses from the Scripture Series 1 set pop!

Doesn’t it look like I spent hours making those flowers?! I LOVE IT!! Just by cutting more or less of the flower quilling die you can very the size and fullness of your flowers. The quilled flowers with swirly Zva Creative pearls also accented the Spellbinders Lattice Pendant die beautifully!

Now, on to my project. I made these "Homemade Snowballs" paint cans for my sons' teachers using the very adorable Let's Go Sledding set by Eat Cake Graphics:

I got a pleasant surprise when my son Marcus asked to help! He plopped in all the snowball cookies in the bag and made sure they got good and covered with confectioner's sugar :).

What will the winner get for strolling? Well, here is a picture of the Frosty Prize full of paper crafting goodies.
The prize includes:

crystal snowflakes from our new button collection

Official Snow Tasters stamp set.
*A jar of
crystal glitter
*A collection of frosty embellishments including buttons, white flowers, sequins, and brads
*A Colorbox chalk cat's eye ink pad

So put on your mittens and go for a garden tour (or just stay in you jammies - we won't tell).

Your next stop is over at Tangii's blog, but before you go make sure to write down my Secret Snow Word: WHITE

Just in case you get lost along the way, here is the garden tour guide list:

It's the first of the month and that means NEW STAMP SETS from Our Daily Bread designs!!! Along with the new releases is a BLOG HOP for you to enjoy and hopefully win blog candy! Grab a pen and paper because you'll need to jot down my secret word. Make sure you collect a word from each DT blog!

Now, if you've come to my blog from Angie Z. then you're in the right place! If not, you'll want to start off at the ODBD store blog where all the details will posted and the blogs listed in case you get lost along the way.

Two beautiful sets are available TODAY from ODBD and here they are in all their holiday glory!

His Gift:

Peace & Joy:
I decided to showcase the beautiful snowflakes from the Peace & Joy set using the
Basic Grey Week 9 Challenge which was a sketch. The usual requirement is to use at lease one Basic Grey product and I thought my Opalines (I have ALL the colors) made terrific accents for the snowflakes!

The snowflakes stack nicely together for more dimension!

Here's what you'll need to do for a chance to win an ODBD stamp set of your choice (there will be two winners selected through Random.org):

1. Collect our names and the words we have which will form a special message to our hoppers.

2. Return to the ODBD blog and post a comment that you have commented on every blog and collected the secret message.

3. E-mail our DT Coordinator, Grace, with the secret message. You have until Dec. 2, 8PM EST.

Get ready to write this down...my SECRET WORD is "a". Simple, isn't it! Your next stop is over at the fabulously talented Silke. Wait 'til you see her beautiful card!

Today also happens to be TIOT with SCACD! My card is based on the MOJO115 sketch and Cuttlebug Spot Winter Theme challenge:

I ran my metal sheet through my Cuttlebug using the Sledding embossing folder. I then covered the metal sheet with Versamark and heat embossed with Pearlized Carnelian by Stampendous.

Be sure to stop by the rest of the SCACD DT blogs to see more fun boxes!

Welcome to the ODBD NOVEMBER NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the ODBD Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Connie's blog then you're in the right place. If not, please start at the ODBD Blog and hop along! For this hop you'll have to collect a word from each of the Bread Basket designers for a chance to WIN the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE SETS so make sure to read on...

Our Daily Bread designs just released three brand new sets today and you will be swept away by the beautiful poinsettia, verses and sentiments! Here they are:

Blessed Christmas

Luke 2:11
Christmas Verses

I totally fell in love with these sets and immediately played with them when I received them! You can create a nice full poinsettia by layering them as I did in my Design Team Holiday Shimmer Challenge, which I created using the ICSketches #40: I painted my poinsettia with Glimmer Mists...YES! I said PAINTED! I just sprayed my Glimmer Mist on my craft sheet and picked it up with a fine paint brush. I lightly misted my finished poinsettia with Silver Glimmer Mist to get even more shimmer!

Don't you just love the yummy designer papers I used? Take a look at some new SEI holiday papers that Kelley has in stock!

************************************************************************************

The secret word you need to collect from me is: you

I forgot to mention that there's no cheating for this hop...LOL! You need to go in order because, aside from grabbing the secret words, you'll need to know which designer had which word in order for a chance to win ALL 3 SETS!

Be sure to keep a list of all the DT's names and words and e-mail your answer to Grace. Her e-mail address is posted in the ODBD Blog. You have until 8 PM (EST) on Nov. 3 to get your entry in.

One More Chance to Win...

Please be sure to check out the ODBD Blog "Latest Challenge" to join our Design Team in this month's Challenge! The challenge this month is to make a Holiday Card and make it SHIMMER! There are many ways you can do that... so this is easy enough for all to play along! You might use Shimmery Designer Paper, Glimmer Mist, Shimmerz, Twinkling H2O's, etc. Just show us the shimmer so fitting for the Christmas season!

Everyone is invited to play along! You DO NOT have to use Our Daily Bread designs stamps to win, but if you have them, we LOVE to see them!!! Link your card to the Latest Challenge Thread on the ODBD Blog by Nov. 15th by 8 PM EST. There will be a $30.00 Store Credit given to the winner of this challenge! Show us the Shimmer!!!

Now, hop over to Angella's blog and grab up her secret word!
