Our lives are always so jam packed with life’s many happenings. Always remember to take the time to slow down and reflect on what God has blessed us with. For me, He has given rain today to renew and refresh, a quiet day to create a card that helps spread His message, a 10-minute break to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while looking at pictures of my boys on the computer, time to quickly send messages to friends and family to let them know they are being thought of. You see…it’s the little things in life that I consider blessings.
This is why I chose to use Job 37:14 from the Porch set for my card today, following the recipe for ODBDSLC60 (at least two die shapes, dry embossed background and one sentiment):

ReplyDeleteHi Lorelie,
ReplyDeleteI think this card is delightful! I love the unique layout, and the special way that you used one of the Scriptures from this set! I wouldn't have thought of doing that. I love the sweet summery colors. This looks like it was a ton of work...it sure looks like it is worth it! The recipient will be over-joyed by it! Thank you for sharing!

This is such a beautiful, delicate card, I love it! I also love your outlook on the way God provides us with the things we need in all aspects such as the rain so you can have time to pause for the other important things in life.
