Welcome to the ODBD 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop!  Today marks the third year that Kelley and her incredible crew have been spreading His word through the stamping community and we’re celebrating it with this awesome hop that’s filled with LOTS of prizes so please read on!

I am excited to be your first stop for this hop!  Each year that ODBD celebrates Kelley releases sets filled with each design team member’s selected scripture.  I chose Luke 12:34 which is in the Scripture Collection 7 set and here is my card using a stamp from the Fancy Labels set along with the compatible Spellbinders Label 17 die:

I love this passage because it reminds us that we should not store our wealth in material things, but to place it in God and in Heaven where it is safe.  You know the saying “Home is where the heart is”.  Well, in the end our home is with our Father in Heaven.

Did you notice I embedded the gorgeous Butterfly Single among the flowers?

We will be taking submissions of favorite verses (must not be lengthy) until Mar. 31, 11:59pm est. There is a special post on the ODBD Blog and a special link to it in the right side bar so you can easily find it through the rest of this month. Simply read and follow the rules, and submit the verse you’d most like to see on a card, scrapbook page or any project your little heart desires. If your verse is selected you will receive the set free and you will be invited to be a guest designer for the release of these new stamps when they are ready, by sending a photo of your card to Kelley to post on the ODBD blog.
