I used the Lockhart Harvest Candle stamp for my card which accompanied my Filipino Blueberry Sticky Cake Squares (aka Blueberry Mochiko - my sweet friend and awesome cook, Melissa Ovalles, was so gracious to share this recipe with me! THANK YOU, MELISSA!!). I also based the layout on this week's Sweet Sketch Wednesday:

It's time to hop on over to Anki's! Be sure to hop along all the way through to see all the Lockhart holiday projects and don't forget to find those hearts!

You and elegance go hand-in-hand!! What a lovely autumnal creation!!! I love the wonderful papers, the stitching, and the beautiful way in which you colored your image. Also, I am not certain of this, but your blueberry sticky cake sounds like the yummy cake I grew up with called mochi. My mother is from Japan, and mochi was a regular holiday treat...especially for New Years. Now, you have me wishing I had some. Hahaha!!! Time to head out to the Asian market and gather up the ingredients;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the constant inspiration!!
Hugs!
