For this card I used cream colored Prima flowers from their Nursery Tales Collection. I used my Glimmer Screens to mask off the flowers and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I also stamped a portion of the center flower with John 13:34 scripture from the Love One Another set.
Prismatic Metallics Bronze Ore and Copper
Glimmer Screens Decorative Corners
Other supplies: Prima flowers, cross charm, SU Basic Brown ink pad, linen ribbon, pearl brad
For my second card I HAD to use my beautiful Prima silk flower, which was difficult for me because I HOARD PRIMAS! I used my Glimmer Mists to create the subtle sparkle on my Spellbinders tag then sponged on distress ink to help the dry embossing pop out.
Here's a close-up of how the Glimmer Mists add the perfect amount of sparkle:

ReplyDeleteI am commenting on an old post (2009) but I love what you did with the Love One Another set and I would like to know the instructions on how you did the hearts in the background with the verse embossed in gold on top. What ink did you use on the hearts? I am wanting to make a card using this basic idea but can't get it to turn out like I want. Thank you for any help - and you can email me back at lenoriakelly@att.net if you have time and would like to.
