Bloody good treats!

It’s a holiday and that means TREAT TIME!  For this Halloween I baked up these ooey, gooey, sinful babies:

Halloween 001

Those are RED VELVET COOKIES and they are “to die for”!  I followed THIS recipe, altered a tag I found HERE, created a label for the treat bag and now they are ready to be handed out to my sons’ teachers:

These cookies are so good that even a Ninja tried to fight me for them!  Just kidding!  That’s my son Evan and he looks so cool!

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Can’t take the ODBD out of the girl and a little Fall Festival fun!

Kelley stopped by my blog and saw my ODBD cards and I LOVED the comment she left me: “You can take the girl out of ODBD but you can't take the ODBD out of the girl…”.  SO TRUE!  SO TRUE!  LOL!  With that being said, here’s another ODBD card.  You may have noticed that my cards have just been focused on scriptures.  I wanted to design my cards around the scriptures because in the end that’s what really matters, right?

On a different note…tonight was Evan’s school Fall Festival and we had a blast!  It’s always fun getting to be a BIG KID with my sons so after many game booths were played and giant slide were slid and gold fish won we had our faces painted before calling it a night.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

How do I deal with missing the ODBD family? By creating CARDS, of course!

I made several scripture cards recently to help me cope with my ODBD withdrawal…LOL!  Here are just a few cards I created that made me feel better.  Missing all you Breadsticks out there!!

Wishing Kelley of ODBD a happy birthday!

Although I stepped down from the fabulous ODBD Design Team (a.k.a. The Bread Basket) last month, I wanted to wish Kelley (fondly referred to as Blondie by yours truly!) a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  The Breadsticks are having a Birthday Blog Hop to celebrate Kelley’s birthday so make sure to join in on the festivities!

It’s been a while since I made a card so what better time than today…Kell, Blondie of all Blondes…here’s an ODBD card (MOJO159) honoring you, my dear friend!
