Take a stroll through the blogs of all the Paper Gardeners and enjoy some "heart-felt" inspiration.

While you visit, subscribe or Follow each Gardener's blog and take note of each designer's name and their Romantic Word in their blog post. Once you finish your garden tour, send an E-mail to custserv@papergardenprojects.com with the list of designers and their Romantic Word.

Everyone who sends the correct list of designers and words will be entered in a random drawing to win a sweet Valentine prize. You need to send an e-mail to the address above; please don't leave your list as a comment. You have until midnight (EST) on January 26 to send your list.

And the prize? The super cute Penny Black clear stamp set called Every Which Way:
For my Valentine inspired card I used the beautiful Garden Heart Two stamp by Impression Obsession:
PGP Jan Hop 001
PGP Jan Hop 002

Don’t you just love the details of this stamp?! I had so much fun coloring it in with my watercolor markers and Smooch!

All the papers, cardstocks and ribbons used on my card are from the Hearts Bloom Paper Kit so it super easy to recreate.

My romantic word you need to collect is SWEET.

Here is the garden tour list…ENJOY YOUR WALK THROUGH OUR ROMANTIC GARDEN!

Somewhere, over the rainbow…

I haven’t played along with Flourishes’ challenges lately so I stopped by to see what the current one was. A FTTC50 challenge was to create a scene with stamps and so I decided to create a cloudy sky with a rainbow for my Noah’s Ark image. I also followed this week’s MMSC37 sketch:

FTTC50 MMSC37 001

FTTC50 MMSC37 002

I just used an oval piece of paper as a mask to create the rainbow and a handmade cloud template cut from acetate for the sky.

ODBD will be releasing several new sets next month and you are all in for a real treat!! I’ll have sneak peeks next week so come back here to take a look!

Loving the easel card!

Over at SCS, Beate has a fabulous tutorial for an easel card. When I read the instructions and watched her video I didn’t realize how quick and painless it was to create a “wow” card! You can bet that I’ll be making more of these in the near future!

Here’s my rendition of an easel card using ODBD’s Confirmation set:

Do you like the new look of my postings (recipe box and photo arrangements)? I have the wonderful Dawn Lusk to thank for that! She pointed me to Windows Live Writer and I have to tell you…it is AWESOME!!

The rain in So Cal calls for a wintry PGP card!

Before I show you my card, I want to give you all a heads up on Paper Garden Projects’ Romantic Garden Walk. Mark your calendars for January 23! Then on January 29 it’s time for our Fourth Friday Challenge (well, in this case it’s actually the fifth Friday).

Mother Nature has been playing tricks on us in our neck of the woods. Several days ago it was sunny and warm (almost 80°!). Yesterday it was pouring rain and today it’s pretty windy! So yes, this is California’s version of winter…LOL! The wonky weather put me in a “wintry” mood so I reached for my fun Eat Cake Graphics set and played along with the Midnight Madness ladies using this week’s MMSC35 and followed the current Color Throwdown #75 (colors were Garden Green, Rich Razzleberry and Mellow Moss):

MMSC35 ColorThrowdown 75

MMSC35 ColorThrowdown 75 B

This little cutie is from the Let’s Go Sledding set and you can find it over at Paper Garden Projects.

Heading back to my craft room to make more cards…going through withdrawal!

Finished my AMACO projects! Back to cardmaking...

I've completed my AMACO® projects and am ready to ship them out in time for their CHA booth! EXCITING!! I also had to type up step-by-step instructions so they can hand them out at the show so if any of you will be in attendance make sure to grab some!

I was able to make a card today...YAY! I played along for the first time with Caardvarks using their current challenge. You can view the sketch by Becky Fleck HERE. I can't believe I had not inked up the cross and dove from the ODBD Confirmation set until today...I should be scolded! LOL! I used a gorgeous velvet print from SEI that ODBD carries. Check out several SEI papers that feature pearl, glimmer, glitter and velvet accents HERE.

I LOVED how America's card turned out using no coloring at all (except for the ink) so I had to do it, too. Thanks for the inspiration, America!!

Did you notice I snuck in some ArtEmboss® Aluminum metal flowers onto my card? LOL! Yeah, they're still in my system!!

And since it's still winter, come back tomorrow to see a Paper Garden Projects card using an image from the Let's Go Sledding stamp set!

Card Recipe:

Stamp: ODBD Confirmation and Baptism & Confirmation Verses

Ink: Versamark, SU Bravo Burgundy

Paper: SEI (Juliette Printed Velvet, Secret Rendezvous Glitter), Prism Razzleberry pack (Razzleberry Dark)

Accessories: EK Success Morocco Lace border punch, AMACO® ArtEmboss® Medium Aluminum Metal Sheet, Martha Stewart 3-in-1 Hydrangea punch, Basic Grey Opalines, silver embossing powder, sponge dauber, white silk ribbon
