It’s gloomy and ready to start pouring again today. Nature was teasing us with 80° weather a couple of days ago. In the next few days we’re expecting lots of rain and wind. Spring needs to stay put!
I’ve been battling acute bronchitis and a sinus infection, but I was actually feeling a little better and I was able to play in my craft room to create this card using the gorgeous Bird Labels set released this month as well as the He Will Rise set from last month:
I love the Martha Stewart Punch Around collection, but not the limited sizes in which the full effect of using the border and corner punches are achieved. A 3.25” square was too small for my card and a 6” was too big. I decided to cut two opposite corners of a 6” square mat (diagonally cut), attached the two triangles I got from doing that and ended up with a 4.25”…perfect! I love when things like this happens .
I’m off to play catch-up!
