Liquid Applique

I haven't used my tube of liquid applique in a long while. I was going through my stamps and found my sheep by Penny Black and thought it was perfect to use the liquid applique for the wool! I created the scene by freehand cutting green and gray cardstocks for the pathway and rocks and dry embossing them with my Cuttlebug.

I'm a GRANDMA!

Our Daisy gave birth to 3 puppies last night, 2 girls and 1 boy!!! We were away overnight and when we got home this afternoon we heard the small wimpers of hungry little angels.

Chosen to be a guest designer for Clear Dollar Stamps!

I found out two weeks ago I was chosen to be a guest design team member for Clear Dollar Stamps for the month of September! If you haven't heard of Clear Dollar Stamp or seen the SUPER CUTE sets that are offered check them out: http://www.newcleardollarstamps.com/servlet/StoreFront
If you place an order please let them know I sent you!

Here's a card I made a couple of months ago using a Clear Dollar Stamp set called Pond Pals.

I made two cards yesterday (in between 5 loads of laundry, feeding 5 growing kiddos- that's 15 plates of food a day!! - a lab puppy, a bark-happy lhasa and a pregnant shih tzu). I really can't remember how I got these cards done!

It has been an emotional roller coaster ride for our family in recent weeks and it continues to be. We're hoping all our prayers are answered.

Creating to distract myself...

My hubby's dad has been in the hospital for 2 weeks now and will be having his biopsy on Wednesday...please keep him in your prayers!

I've been driving back and forth to San Diego to visit him and to help keep his spirits up. His family is so supportive of him and of each other. I am BLESSED to be a part of it.

Making cards was a nice distraction. My posts will be short because everything is so hectic right now. Love and blessings to all!!

This is a SCENTED card - smells just like a nice warm cup of cappuccino. Thanks Kimmie, for telling me about Simply Sistas!! The stamp set is by My Favorite Things called "Hot Stuff".

This technique is called Teabag folding. It requires patience...A LOT OF IT! LOL - but it was therapeutic for me.
This is from a stamp set called Serenity Now by My Favorite Things.

This final card is also created using a My Favorite Things set called "Happy Mother's Day".
