Stampavie!!!

The Stampavie line of stamps (Sarah Kay and Rachelle Anne Miller are the artists) is fast becoming a favorite! I love how the images allow for wonderful coloring, whether you use watercolors, Copics or colored pencils and gamsol. I used one of Rachelle Anne Miller's Lily stamp called My Little Friend and colored it with pencil and gamsol (also known as odorless mineral spirits or paint thinner. Michael's carries a brand called Mona Lisa). You can find Stampavie at
7 Kids College Fund. I just ordered several and can't wait to play with them :).

PUPPY UPDATE:
All will be going to loving homes by the end of this month. We will miss them!!

Froggies and a layout (after a 9 month hiatus!!)

I started working on this card last night and just finished it today. I just couldn't stop adding to it! The set is from Clear Dollar Stamps and if you click on the website it will take you straight to the stamp set. Look around because the site is loaded with CUTE sets!!!

Supplies used:
Pond Pals from Clear Dollar Stamps, DCWV Baby Boy Stack and Metallic Stack, paper hydrangeas, Prima Got Flowers? Deux, Flatback pearls from Hero Arts, mini brads, brown Fun Flock, SU! Crystal Effects, polka dot sheer ribbon, Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder and machine stitching.

I hadn't scrapped in over 9 months so I'm rusty, to say the least! After going through TONS of pictures I came across one of my favorite pictures of my son Marcus. This was taken during his first birthday party. It was a huge luau bash with over 100 people! Anyways, my son was just sitting there getting really cranky due to teething. I snapped a picture of him just before he got the football...PRAYING for some relief :).

Christmas in August!

I just couldn't wait any longer to break out with my holiday stamps. I've had these Penny Black clear stamps for several months and I finally decided to make a Christmas card. I freehand cut the snow mountains, accented with sponged ink on the edges, Cuttlebugged for texture, Liquid Applique for snow and stitched with silver thread.

Our pups at 5 weeks!

I was only able to get these shots after they got all pooped out (literally, too!) playing and nipping at my toes! They are just toooooo CUTE!! The two little girls are already spoken for and I'm sad knowing I have to give them up by the end of the month, but happy they will be going to loving homes. Enjoy the CUTENESS OVERLOAD!

Hoo! Hoo!

I am leaving for the weekend for my hubby's annual family reunion and wanted to post a little something before I leave today.
I bought this owl set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps - isn't it adorable?! She also carries Stampavie which are super cute so check out the site! As for the card, I hand cut the tree branch and sponged brown ink on the edges. For the leaves I just took two different sizes/shades of green Prima flowers and cut out each petal.
Until next week....HAPPY STAMPING AND SCRAPPING!!
