Whenever my "card mojo" is lacking I always, ALWAYS turn to card sketches because it helps get those creative juices flowing!
Last night I found myself sitting at my craft table...and sitting...and sitting...and nothing! Then, I get an e-mail update that the SCS sketch challenge is up and BAM! I start pulling papers! Same thing happened today. I get an e-mail update from Flourishes for their Timeless Tuesday challenge and I go off and running!
This first card is for the FTTC14 from
Flourishes and the challenge was to use beads of any type, size and color. I borrowed the idea of using flattened bead caps from one of our Bread Basket girls,
Angella. I have so much of these silver bead caps that I purchased on eBay and when I got them I thought "I'm never going to use these! There are waaaaaaay to big for the beads I have". Well, now I'll be using them quite often! LOL! I just used mini brads to attach them.
